BJP leader Dilip Ghosh extended his heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Ram Navami, announcing that the festival will be celebrated with grandeur and devotion across West Bengal. Emphasizing the significance of the celebration for the Hindu community, Ghosh called on law enforcement agencies to ensure that the festivities proceed peacefully and without hindrance.

“Ram Navami will be celebrated grandly across West Bengal. The police must ensure the peaceful conduct of celebrations. The Hindu community will celebrate the festival as per their traditions, and there should be no problems in this,” Ghosh stated.

Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing in Nandigram, where the foundation stone for a Ram Temple will be laid on Ram Navami. West Bengal Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to lead the foundation-laying ceremony in the Paschim Medinipur district, adding significance to the celebrations.

Heightened security measures have been put in place in Howrah, as large crowds of devotees are expected to visit temples and participate in religious activities.

In Hooghly, a grand Shobha Yatra will be held today, adding vibrant color and energy to the festivities. The procession, a key highlight of Ram Navami in the region, will feature traditional music, devotional chanting, and elaborate decorations. Devotees from across the district are set to participate, coming together to honor Lord Rama on his birth anniversary.

The festival coincides with Chaitra Navratri, a nine-day spring celebration dedicated to Goddess Durga. On this ninth day, devotees worship Maa Siddhidatri, the final form of the goddess believed to bestow meditative powers and spiritual knowledge. The day, also known as Navami, holds special spiritual significance and is marked by prayers for strength, prosperity, and the removal of life’s obstacles.

As Ram Navami and Navratri converge, the atmosphere across West Bengal is filled with devotion, cultural pride, and festive enthusiasm, with people uniting in celebration of divine strength and heritage.
